A Frisco apartment community that's on the way will bring more rental units to the city's town square development.

The Kilby rental community is part of the Frisco Square development on Main Street east of the Dallas North Tollway.

The four-story project is being built by KWA Construction for developer Toll Brothers.

The rental complex is set to open next year.

"In the last 15 years, Frisco has seen one of the largest municipal growths in North Texas," KWA Construction president Brian Webster said in a statement. "Developments like Kilby and Frisco Square fuel this growth as the population continues to rise and companies continue to call Frisco home."

Designed by BGO Architects, the project includes a club room, a conference lounge, a gaming lounge, a two-story fitness center, a pet spa and an outdoor patio with a resort-style pool.

The Kilby apartments are part of a 25-acre district that's being planned by Dallas' B/K Multifamily to have more than 1,600 apartments, condos and other high-density residential units, according to KWA Construction. B/K Multifamily is a partner in the Toll Brothers project.

The Frisco project is one of several new apartment developments Toll Brothers has in the works in North Texas.

The Pennsylvania-based builder has a new apartment community on Commerce Street in West Dallas. And Toll Brothers is building a 22-story residential high-rise on in Dallas' Oak Lawn neighborhood near Turtle Creek.
